"Pain in Uranus"

Films: Journey to the 7th Planet (1962)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Cave/p>

Height/Weight: About that of a large car.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: When they say the bad guys lost their minds, they aren't always right. What if the villain IS the mind? Then you have either Kraang from TMNT, or some other grey matter baddie, like this guy.

History: Residing on Uranus and waiting for some guests to drop by, this megalomaniacal one-eyed brain was quick to act when some astronauts arrived. He knocked them out, redecorated the landscape to look rather foresty, and sent them a simple message: come get me, and die trying so I can use your bodies for world domination.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After his creations fail him, the brain gets a canister of liquid nitrogen to the face, freezes, and gets blasted apart.

Powers/Abilities: This brain is practically omnipotent, capable of terraforming the land, and creating living creatures from the fears of his targets. In this film, he created a giant cyclops-rat-lizard, "Earth Vs. the Spider" stock footage, among other things.

Weakness: Cannot stand freezing temperatures...rather ironically, considering the planet he's on.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Oh sure, you can kill this guy with the right equipment...but just try getting to him. This thing can make your worst fears reality, and then some. He knows all, sees all on this desolate planet they call Uranus.

Trivia: -The film was made with a budget of only $75,000.

-This film shares various plot similarities with "Solaris", a book published a year before, as well as a film produced a decade later.

At least the brain gained a head.

What kind of lovecraftian entity drained the other planets?

The brain saw Starship Troopers and got an idea.

Awww! He just wants to play!

This brain's getting some tonight.

Long time, no see.

Nice light show you've got there.
